Koti Channaya

Koti Baidya and Channaya Baidya were born to Deye Baidethi of the Billava family. They fought against injustice and for the welfare of the people of Tulu Nadu. They died in the battle for protecting land and people. There are several Garadis built-in Mangalore and Udupi where the people worship Koti Channaya and show respect to them. Also, Nema(annual festival) will be organized in Garadi.
