The ninth day celebration during the Dasara festival can’t be described in words. Sharada, Ganpati, and Nava Durgas idols are installed during the Navaratri festival.

All these idols are worshiped for 9 days of Navaratri. On the tenth day, these idols are taken in the grand procession throughout the city. The ten days grand celebration ends with the immersion of Goddess idols in the pond at the premises of  Kudroli temple.

The grand procession of Durga is similar to the Mysore Dasara celebration so it is also known as ‘Mangalore Dasara’.
