Someshwara beach is located in Ullal on the outskirts of Mangalore. The beach derives its name from the Shiva temple stands beside it which gets many devotees and tourists. The temple is believed to have been constructed by Queen Abbakka Devi of Ullal. It is famous for its sunset view and large rocks on the beach are called 'Rudra Shilas'.
