Tannirbavi Beach

Tannirbavi Beach is one of the most popular tourist destinations in coastal  Karnataka. You can reach here in your own vehicle or reach either by land near Kulur Bridge or take a city bus from State bank to Sultan Battery and take a ferry ride across the Gurupur River. The ferry ride is the most enjoyable. After crossing the river with the ferry, you can find a way between trees and reach the beach.

 This place is surrounded by beautiful greenery which makes the perfect combination with the blue-green waters of the sea. It is such a peaceful and eye-pleasing sight. This is the perfect place for peace and nature lover. You can enjoy the heavenly view of the Sunset. 

Proper seats and other facilities make the beach a frequently visited attraction, and it is crowded often on weekends and public holidays. 

Tannir Bavi Tree Park is a small park that is a 15-hectare land next to the beach and is maintained and developed by the Forest Department of Karnataka.  It will include a few specific tree species found in the Western Ghats. It will also include trees/plants which are of herbal and medical nature.
