Maravanthe Beach is one of Karnataka’s most beautiful beaches with a road in between and river on the other side. Located 55 km from Udupi, the NH-6 runs next to the beach and Sowparnika River flows on the other side of the road. It is creating spectacular scenery that is considered the only one of its kind in India. The Sowparnika river almost touches the Arabian sea in this place and makes a U-turn and goes westward to join the sea after a journey of more than 10 km.
